Who?

I am often surprised at the varying perspectives people have on ourselves and who we are.

A common view is that we are fundamentally different from animals, despite scientific understanding that we are undoubtedly an animal. Many of us may have a dualist attitude – somehow subconsciously accepting both the position of science and a contrasting perspective emphasising how different we are from other animals, whether real or spiritual.

This explores the animal in us, where we are different from other animals, and why we might be so.

This theme is here because we really have no hope of resolving our problems if we perceive ourselves to be something that we are not.
